Why Log In? There are a handful of "Members Only" features on our site that require you to log in. Specifically, in order to view lines available in our Job Bank, to post a "rep seeking lines" ad in the Job Bank, or to access the free Web Site Building program, you will need to log in. Also, if you are logged in, your contact information will be automatically filled in on any contact forms you fill out on the site.
Passwords: when we redesigned our site, we emailed user passwords to all NEAC members. If you do not have your password, you may click the "Lost Password" link, and enter your email address. Assuming the email address you enter is the one in our system, your password will be automatically emailed to you.
Remember Me: If you select "Remember Me", a cookie will be set on your computer, which will allow you to access Members Only content in the future without having to log in. This is a good option if you, or trusted friends and family members, are the only users of your computer. If people you don't know well have access to the computer, you may not want to select the 'remember me' option. Even after selecting the option, if you select "log out", or clear the cookies on your computer, you will not be automatically logged in.
Contrary to popular belief, cookies are NOT spyware or in any way intrusive. This cookie does not allow us, or anyone else, to gather information about you or your surfing habits. However, the use of cookies on our site is completely optional, so just ignore the option if you choose.
